The entire Middle School Ministry of Hope Community Church is going to Invade the Ice House of Raleigh (1410 Buck Jones Rd, Raleigh, NC). All 3 campuses are coming together for an experience of a lifetime! Well, one that is cold and Awesome at the same time.

What? Middle school students enjoying an AMAZING night of fun, hanging out, and getting your skate on. We are renting out the whole place, so be sure to bring all of your friends with you!

Cost? $10 per person (And a Release form Completely filled out) gets you skates and a fun night of memories.

MUST! Parents must have completed and signed the release form AND Bring it with you to the Ice House with your $10.

Small Groups!!! HSM Bowl is Here!! Get your small groups together, friends from school or from the neighborhood, and other high school students together to form your own football team. This is the first year that the HSM Hope Bowl is being held. Hope Community Church has figured out the most effective way for all to participate from both genders to play flag football in a way that is safe, fun, and really competitive. Total of 7 players on the field in which 3 of them must be female, you can see the official rules for all the details.We are excited to play first time in Grace Fields off of Buck Jones Road . Check-in location:  Grace Fields at 1:00 pm. Games will be between 1:30pm-5:30pm. Everyone is welcome to play, NO MATTER WHAT THE SKILL LEVEL! COME PLAY!!

Living a life full of grace that’s attractive

We all have those dirty little secrets. The things we enjoy, in private, that we would be ashamed of if anyone ever found out. Some of them are no big deal, like movies, certain tv shows, or that band that we blare in the car when no one else is with us! Some of our guilty pleasures, well make us feel just that, guilty. It’s way more than embarrassment, it feels like a weight we carry around of shame, insecurity, anger, and brokenness. Once we feel guilty, we carry it from relationship to relationship, situation to situation. What if we didn’t need to live affected by guilt anymore? What if our motivation for living instead was grace? How much more attractive would our lives be if we dropped the weight of guilt and lived with the freedom of grace? Not only would we benefit, so would everyone else around us! In this series we are going to talk about:

Do you ever feel like you want to do the right thing but continue to do the wrong thing? The fact is, we are all born with sin in our life. No matter how hard we fight it, we will continue to mess up because we are human. But Paul’s Letter to the Romans discusses that even though we continue to mess up we are forgiven and free because of Christ. Over the next 4 weeks we will look at how Christ frees us from the law of the Old Testament and we now live by grace.

Small Groups are BACK! Over the next few weeks we will examine PRAYER. What is it? Why should you do it? How do you do it? All the questions you have about prayer will be answered!
