Following the HSM Bowl, come hang out at the 4th Annual HSM Super Bowl Party. It’s happening at the Crossroads Campus from 6-10ishpm. Cost is free! There will be plenty of rooms to watch the big game, giveaways, and of course, a chili cook off.

January is football month; from College Bowl Games to the NFL playoffs. And the game of football is so easily relatable to this playing field we call life. Without a coach and the understanding of a playbook, were not always exactly sure our purpose and direction. So we have questions. Some we face everyday. ”What should I eat or what should I wear?” But some questions are more pressing. ”What on earth am I here for? What should I do with my life?” Discovering those answers to life’s pressing questions can be frustrating and overwhelming. But, God does has a plan and the Bible is our play book. During these next four weeks, let’s gear up, team up, and discover God’s game plan for our lives.

Hazardous is back in fashion tomorrow night! The wait is no longer here. The anticipation is in full gear and the boring Wednesday evenings is a distant memory of the past.

On Jan 11, 2011, we will be getting AMP’D, which is our kickoff series. Students will want to come check out Hazardous as we talk about our Identity, Faith, Hope & Love, the ways we need to get Amp’d in our spiritual life. It will be a great opportunity to learn how to stay on track and stay encouraged in your walk with God.

There will be no weekend Services on December 24/25 due to the Christmas weekend!

There will be no middle school services on December 31/January 1 weekend either because of the new year!

We’re in our last series of 2011 called “Do Something.” We’re challenging students and leaders to not just talk about change, but actually BE THE CHANGE. Too many times we’re referred to as consumers; we take, take, take and rarely give back. But we can change that! During these next three weeks, we’ll be focusing on the issue of hunger and how that affects many people in our communities and around the world. We’ll be doing several things: fasting to experience hunger, collecting quarters for meals for Stop Hunger Now (www.stophungernow.org), and collecting grocery items for needy families in our community. We hope to inform and to inspire students and leaders to get involved; to see needs, and help meet them.

Dec. 4th – End of 24hr Fast and Pulse Service (end the night with a meal together)

Dec. 11th – Stop Hunger Now (assemble and pack meals)

Dec. 18th – Local Hope Service Project (assemble, pack, and deliver groceries)

Dec. 25th – MERRY CHRISTMAS! (no HSM activities)

Jan. 1st – HAPPY NEW YEAR! (no HSM activities)

Return Of Hazardous – JAN.11.2012

That’s Right, Hazardous will be returning to action on January 11, 2012.

It has been a GREAT semester of Hazardous, as we have seen God do some amazing things. Everyone involved with Hazardous has encountered God is some way these past several weeks. First we had A LOT of FUN! We believe in a God who wants us to have fun, smile, and of course laugh. Sing Songs, or we call it worship, or an act of worship, as we would sing songs to honor God. Also, each week we would learn about God in a way we could all understand in our personal life. God does have a plan for YOU, LOVES YOU, and CARES about… YOU!

Hazardous will kick back off on Jan 11, 2012 for the best semester of Hazardous IN YOUR LIFE! It will surely ROCK YOUR FACE OFF!!! In the mean time, have fun with your family and friends. Enjoy the holidays! We miss you already… We are dreaming of Jan 11, 2012 & we hope you are as well!
