ways YOU can serve!!

Thanks for your interest in serving in our student ministry!!  There are SO MANY ways you can serve with us.  You may be interested in investing and building relationships with students.  You may not have the time or energy to work directly with students…that’s OKAY!  There’s a place for you too!!  Below is a listing of ways you can serve within student ministries!  If you are interested and would like more info, please click on the “interested in volunteering?” link on the right and fill out the form OR contact Laura Lee at 919.532.0620 ext 106 or laural@gethope.net.  We hope to hear from you soon!

HANDS ON TEAM: Invest in students, build relationships and attend one of our weekly programs.
- Weekend Services Leader – Hang out, play basketball, worship with students.
- Weekend Services Check-In – Check in students at one of our weekend services.
- Weekend Services Connect Team – Help students feel welcome.  Man an area to engage students.
- Weekend Services Snack Shop Team – Work in the snack shop and talk with students.
- Small Group Leader – Connect and build strong relationships with middle or high school students.
- Special Events – Volunteer to help with retreats, service/mission projects, one night events, etc.
- Audio/Visual – Provide tech support for our weekend services and/or special events.
- Musician – Do you have the gift of music?  Maybe you could mentor a student or join the band.

RESOURCE TEAM: If you don’t have the time or energy to work directly with students, but want to serve.
- Resource Provider – Do you have something we might be able to use?  A list of needs is available.
- Administrative – Help us with office work, data entry, making phone calls, etc.
- Special Skills – Construction, Photography, etc.

PRAYER TEAM: We need people on their knees for our student ministry!
- Prayer Partner – Join with us as a prayer partner for the overall ministry.
- Weekend Services Prayer Team – We would LOVE to see a ministry of volunteers and parents praying for our services AS they are happening!

Also, we are always open to new ideas of ways for volunteers to serve.  If you have some ideas or feel like you have been gifted in an area that is not listed above, please let Jeff know!
